Jeffrey Kaya is an artist, spatial designer, experiential producer, and entrepreneur. He is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he studied industrial design and print-making. He has served as the assistant art director of the well-known Chicago retail boutique Congruent Space from 2019 till the storefront’s closure in 2023. During his time at SAIC, he co-founded the art studio Midwest Wasteland in 2018, which focuses mainly on works involving fine art screen printing and sculpture using ubiquitous consumer materials. In mid 2024, he co-founded his second studio, C3, which deals in the design, fabrication, and production of experiential brand activations primarily in apparel retail, but extends to broader design projects in specific cases.
Jeffrey’s work has been featured in multiple publications, shows, and venues. Some of the most notable are the SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas, Women’s Wear Daily Magazine, and Expo Chicago.
Jeffrey has also designed and produced events for notable brands such as Mozilla Firefox, Oasis(band), and Denim Tears, among others.
